Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially minded and highly motivated Senior Sales & Commercial Analyst to support sales performance, commercial reporting, CRM administration, stakeholder insights, and business decision-making.

The selected candidate will work closely with senior commercial leaders, sales teams, account managers, and relationship managers to deliver meaningful insights, develop dashboards, improve reporting processes, and support commercial growth through accurate data analysis and business partnering.

Key Responsibilities

• Build strong relationships with commercial stakeholders and act as a trusted business partner.
• Provide data-driven insights, recommendations, and commercial analysis to support decision-making.
• Deliver regular sales and commercial performance reports.
• Identify trends, opportunities, risks, and areas for improvement across sales and commercial activities.
• Develop dashboards and reports using Power BI, Microsoft Excel, and CRM platforms.
• Build and maintain Excel-based dashboards, Power BI dashboards, and CRM dashboards.
• Support strategic and operational decision-making through accurate reporting and analysis.
• Take ownership of key sales reporting processes and ensure timely delivery of reports.
• Support CRM administration, data updates, workflow improvements, and reporting accuracy.
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, workflows, and business systems.
• Recommend automation and system enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy.
• Produce and maintain business performance reports, scorecards, and commercial analysis.
• Support performance tracking, incentive reporting, and ad hoc analytical requests.
• Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and governance of commercial data and reporting.
• Manage day-to-day administrative activities of the Sales Business Analyst function.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver analytical solutions that improve business performance.
• Support commercial growth by highlighting performance gaps and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare insights and reports for senior stakeholders, sales leaders, and business teams.
• Maintain clear documentation of reporting processes, data sources, dashboards, and analysis outputs.
• Perform any other sales analytics, commercial reporting, or business support duties assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience in business analytics, commercial analytics, sales analytics, or a similar analytical role.
• Experience partnering with commercial or sales teams to provide performance insights and business recommendations.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong experience using Power BI for dashboard development and reporting.
• Experience using CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems.
• Ability to analyze data and develop insightful reports, dashboards, and scorecards.
• Qualification in Business Administration, Marketing, Data Analytics, or a related discipline will be an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
• Commercially minded with the ability to translate data into actionable business insights.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder-management, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Proactive, self-motivated, and committed to continuous improvement.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible to work with both Sri Lankan and UK business teams when required.
• Experience in sales operations, commercial reporting, CRM administration, or performance analytics will be an advantage.
