Role Overview
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Associate Embedded Engineer to join our fast-growing engineering team. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in embedded systems design, working alongside experts on innovative hardware products from concept to deployment.
The ideal candidate will have a solid technical foundation, strong problem-solving skills, and a desire to grow in the field of embedded systems engineering.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and development of embedded systems for new hardware products.
- Assist in building and testing functional prototypes for validation and demonstrations.
- Support the development of system architectures and schematic designs.
- Contribute to PCB layout design and testing using industry-standard tools.
- Write and maintain embedded software for processors and RTOS environments.
- Integrate wireless communication protocols (Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, cellular) under supervision.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and external partners to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Document all stages of the design and development lifecycle.
- Assist in project management, helping to monitor timelines and budgets.
- Apply best practices in engineering design, testing, and human-centered development.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Electronics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in embedded hardware/software development.
- Experience with schematic design and PCB development.
- Proficiency in C and C++ programming for embedded systems (ARM, microcontrollers).
- Basic understanding of mixed-signal circuit design and system integration.
- Familiarity with AI/ML technologies is a plus.
- Understanding of software design patterns and version control (e.g., Git).
- Experience with KiCAD 6 or similar PCB design tools preferred.
- Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes or debugging tools is an advantage.
- Understanding of wireless communication protocols and RTOS environments.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work effectively within a collaborative team environment and meet deadlines.
