Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Manager – Freight Forwarding to lead freight forwarding operations and drive operational excellence across import, export, air freight, sea freight, customs coordination, and logistics functions. The successful candidate will be responsible for strengthening stakeholder relationships, optimizing costs, improving service delivery, and leading high-performing teams to achieve business objectives. 

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage overall freight forwarding operations, including import, export, air freight, sea freight, customs coordination, and related logistics activities.
• Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency, service standards, and cost optimization.
• Manage relationships with shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, customs authorities, and logistics partners.
• Ensure smooth coordination between internal teams, suppliers, and customers to achieve timely and accurate deliveries.
• Monitor freight costs, negotiate rates, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs requirements, documentation standards, and company policies.
• Lead, motivate, and develop the freight forwarding team to achieve operational and business targets.
• Provide strategic insights and recommendations to senior management on logistics trends, risks, and opportunities.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional qualifications in logistics or freight forwarding will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 4–6 years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or international supply chain operations with proven managerial experience.
• Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations, import and export procedures, customs clearance processes, shipping documentation, and international trade compliance.
• Experience managing relationships with carriers, shipping lines, airlines, freight agents, and regulatory authorities.
• Strong leadership, analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive operational excellence while maintaining service quality and cost efficiency.
