About the Role

Our client is seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and organized Accountant to manage day-to-day finance operations and maintain accurate financial records. This role is ideal for a finance professional who can ensure financial accuracy, support operational activities, and contribute to the smooth functioning of the organization's accounting processes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling financial transactions, maintaining accounting records, monitoring cash flow, and supporting financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle day-to-day finance and operational activities.
• Prepare and issue receipts for payments received.
• Maintain accurate financial records and Profit & Loss (P&L) statements.
• Perform daily account reconciliations and ensure account balances are accurate.
• Maintain schedules of upcoming payments and ensure timely processing.
• Monitor income, expenses, and outstanding payments.
• Maintain and update accounting records regularly.
• Support financial reporting and bookkeeping activities.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of financial transactions.
• Assist management with financial information and reporting requirements.
• Support compliance with internal financial policies and accounting procedures.

Requirements

• Qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field will be preferred.
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or finance-related roles will be an added advantage.
• Good knowledge of bookkeeping principles and financial record-keeping.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage daily responsibilities effectively.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with accounting software will be an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to meet deadlines and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
