About the Role

Our client is seeking an analytical and results-driven Senior Executive – Planning to support production planning, capacity management, and order execution activities within a fast-paced apparel manufacturing environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring optimal plant utilization, accurate production planning, timely order processing, and effective coordination across multiple departments to achieve customer delivery commitments and operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

Production Planning & Capacity Management

• Ensure plants are loaded at optimal capacity to achieve monthly production and business targets.
• Develop and maintain weekly production plans and frozen plans within agreed timelines.
• Monitor production capacity and proactively highlight overcapacity or resource constraints.
• Support efficient capacity utilization and production flow management.

Order & Delivery Planning

• Accurately plan sales orders and production lines to meet customer delivery commitments.
• Provide timely order confirmations for inquiries and confirmed orders.
• Ensure customer requirements are incorporated into production schedules.
• Maintain high On-Time Delivery (OTD) performance through effective planning and coordination.

Forecasting & Risk Management

• Prepare monthly 5M risk forecasts covering:

  • Man
  • Machine
  • Material
  • Method
  • Marketing

• Identify potential operational risks and recommend mitigation measures.

• Support proactive decision-making through planning insights and forecasting activities.

Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate closely with Production, Merchandising, Supply Chain, Procurement, and Marketing teams.
• Ensure timely availability of materials required for production.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to address planning challenges and minimize operational disruptions.
• Communicate customer delivery updates, delays, and schedule changes to relevant departments.

Process Improvement & Reporting

• Monitor planning performance and recommend process improvements.
• Support production planning optimization initiatives.
• Prepare planning reports and operational updates for management review.
• Maintain accurate planning records and system information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, Project Management, Business Management, or a related discipline.
• Previous experience in production planning, scheduling, or supply chain management within the apparel or textile industry.
• Hands-on experience with Fast React and ERP systems is mandatory.
• Experience using project management tools and planning methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in forecasting, planning, and production scheduling.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations and supply chain processes.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
