About the Role

Our client is seeking a passionate and detail-oriented FIT Coordinator – Maldives to create exceptional travel experiences for clients visiting the Maldives. This role is responsible for designing tailor-made FIT and group travel packages, coordinating reservations and logistics, managing resort relationships, and ensuring outstanding customer service from inquiry through departure.

The ideal candidate will possess strong destination knowledge, excellent coordination skills, and a passion for luxury travel and hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Create customized FIT and group travel packages across standard, boutique, and luxury Maldivian resorts.
• Handle resort bookings, seaplane transfers, domestic flights, speedboat transfers, and VIP airport services.
• Organize special travel experiences including honeymoons, anniversaries, private escapes, and luxury getaways.
• Liaise with resorts to secure availability, negotiate arrangements, and manage last-minute changes.
• Provide seamless guest support from arrival to departure.
• Prepare quotations, invoices, and travel documentation while managing payment deadlines and cancellation requirements.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with resorts, suppliers, and travel partners.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while driving customer satisfaction and repeat business.
• Manage relationships with international luxury travel agents and partners.
• Ensure accurate booking records and travel arrangements are maintained at all times.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in travel, tourism, reservations, destination management, or tour operations.
• Strong knowledge of the Maldives travel market and luxury travel segment.
• Experience handling resort bookings, travel itineraries, and customer travel arrangements.
• Organized, customer-focused, and commercially driven mindset.
• Passion for luxury travel and hospitality.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and influencing skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple reservations, bookings, and deadlines simultaneously.
• Good understanding of travel industry operations and hospitality practices.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships with international travel agents, partners, and suppliers.
• Strong administrative and coordination skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication skills.
