Role Overview 

We are seeking a highly accomplished Director – Quality Assurance to lead global quality strategy, compliance, operational excellence, and quality transformation initiatives across international apparel manufacturing operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring world-class quality standards across sourcing, product development, manufacturing, supply chain operations, and customer delivery. This role requires a senior industry professional with deep expertise in quality management, process optimization, manufacturing excellence, and customer compliance within global apparel and fashion supply chains. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership capabilities, extensive experience working with international apparel brands, and a proven track record of driving continuous improvement programs and quality excellence within complex manufacturing environments. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the overall Quality Assurance strategy aligned with organizational objectives and customer requirements.
• Lead quality management systems across global manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain operations.
• Drive operational excellence initiatives focused on product quality, process control, efficiency, and compliance.
• Establish and maintain world-class quality standards across all stages of product development and manufacturing.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using structured quality methodologies and data-driven decision making.
• Partner with sourcing, operations, technical, product development, and manufacturing teams to ensure consistent product quality.
• Drive quality performance improvements through process optimization, root cause analysis, and corrective action programs.
• Monitor quality KPIs, audit findings, customer claims, defect trends, and overall manufacturing performance.
• Ensure compliance with customer standards, regulatory requirements, and internal quality systems.
• Lead supplier quality improvement programs and manufacturing capability development initiatives.
• Support digital transformation and automation initiatives that strengthen quality monitoring and reporting processes.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, manufacturing partners, and internal stakeholders.
• Provide strategic leadership in quality governance, risk mitigation, and business continuity initiatives.
• Lead, mentor, and develop high-performing quality teams across multiple locations and business units.
• Represent the organization in customer audits, quality reviews, executive meetings, and strategic quality discussions.

Candidate Profile

• 10–20 years of experience within apparel manufacturing, sourcing, product development, quality assurance, or supply chain operations.
• Proven leadership experience in senior quality management roles within global apparel organizations.
• Strong experience driving quality transformation, operational excellence, and manufacturing improvement initiatives.
• Deep understanding of apparel manufacturing processes, supplier quality management, and global compliance standards.
• Strong exposure to automation, digital transformation, and process optimization initiatives.
• Experience working with internationally recognized fashion and apparel brands.
• Previous exposure to Lululemon or similar premium global apparel brands will be highly advantageous.
• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a strategic mindset.
• Ability to lead multicultural teams and collaborate across global operations.
• Demonstrated success in delivering measurable quality improvements and operational performance gains.
