Role Overview

We are looking for a Senior Electrical / Lighting Engineer & BIM Coordinator to lead BIM workflows and lighting coordination across complex projects. This expert-level role involves managing Revit models, ensuring multi-disciplinary integration, leading smart lighting strategies, and supporting BIM best practices across the team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead fixture selection and smart lighting strategies.

  • Manage BIM workflows for lighting projects and maintain project standards.

  • Develop and maintain advanced Revit models, including parametric families and clash detection.

  • Ensure proper integration of lighting layouts with architecture, MEP, and structural models.

  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors for BIM data exchange.

  • Troubleshoot and optimize BIM models for performance and coordination.

  • Review and maintain BIM documentation and clash detection reports.

  • Support the team in adopting BIM best practices and standards.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Lighting design or MEP certifications will be an added advantage.

  • BIM certification is mandatory.

Experience

  • 5–10 years experience in BIM coordination for lighting, architecture, or MEP projects.

Skills & Technical Proficiency

  • Expert-level proficiency in Revit.

  • Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and expert-level Dialux skills.

  • Experience with Navisworks for clash detection will be preferred.

  • Strong expertise in BIM coordination, electrical layouts, and MEP integration.

  • Very good proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

  • Fluent English communication skills (written and spoken).

  • Strong leadership, communication, and teamwork abilities.
