Role Overview

We are seeking a commercially driven and experienced Senior Manager, Fiber Business to lead business growth, market expansion, sales performance, and strategic partnerships for FTTH and FTTE services within the telecommunications industry.

The selected candidate will be responsible for driving fiber business growth across residential, SME, and enterprise segments, developing go to market strategies, managing sales performance, coordinating deployment initiatives, and ensuring strong revenue, subscriber, and profitability growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute strategies to grow the FTTH and FTTE business across residential, SME, and enterprise segments.
• Identify high potential developments, commercial buildings, industrial zones, and enterprise clusters for fiber expansion.
  
• Conduct market assessments, competitor analysis, and commercial feasibility evaluations.
• Manage pricing, go to market propositions, marketing plans, and trade and partner incentive programs.
  
• Develop business cases and investment proposals for fiber expansion initiatives.
• Drive sales teams and partners to achieve subscriber, revenue, and market share targets.
  
• Work closely with Consumer, SME, Enterprise, and Channel Sales teams to implement effective sales strategies.
• Establish sales performance metrics and monitor progress against business objectives.
  
• Support key customer engagements and strategic sales opportunities.
• Develop initiatives to improve customer acquisition, conversion rates, and network utilization.
  
• Coordinate with Network Planning and Sales teams to ensure successful FTTH and FTTE project delivery.
• Monitor project progress and resolve issues affecting commercial performance or customer acquisition.
  
• Ensure smooth transition from deployment to service activation and customer onboarding.
• Monitor business metrics including subscriber growth, revenue, penetration, utilization, and profitability.
  
• Manage budgets, track return on investment, and recommend corrective actions where required.
• Prepare management reports, forecasts, and performance reviews.
  
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high performing team focused on growth, accountability, and customer excellence.
• Drive cross functional collaboration to achieve overall business objectives.
  

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Marketing, Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
• MBA or postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage.
• Minimum 10 years of business development experience in the telecommunications industry.
  
• Minimum 3 years of experience in fiber broadband is required.
  Experience in FTTH and FTTE business development, sales growth, and market expansion.
• Proven track record in driving revenue growth, sales performance, and strategic partnerships.
  
• Strong understanding of residential, SME, enterprise, and channel sales segments.
• Experience working with large scale fiber broadband projects in a leading telecom operator will be preferred.
  
• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to develop business cases and investment proposals.
• Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
  
• Ability to collaborate with sales, network planning, marketing, finance, and technical teams.
• Results oriented, analytical, and capable of managing multiple growth initiatives.
  
• Strong ability to build partnerships, manage performance, and deliver business growth.
