WE ARE HIRING: Manager – Internal Audit 

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Internal Audit professional to lead and strengthen internal audit activities across retail, fast fashion, and corporate operations. The role focuses on risk-based audit planning, evaluating internal controls, ensuring compliance, identifying operational risks, and supporting strong governance and decision-making across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the development and execution of the annual internal audit plan focusing on key risks across retail, fast fashion, and corporate operations

  • Oversee and evaluate internal controls related to financial reporting, inventory management, procurement, store operations, and supply chain activities

  • Ensure compliance with internal policies, statutory requirements, labour laws, and ethical sourcing standards

  • Identify, assess, and report retail-specific risks including inventory shrinkage, sales discrepancies, vendor risks, and process inefficiencies

  • Conduct and supervise store audits, warehouse audits, and vendor audits ensuring consistency and quality

  • Investigate potential fraud, irregularities, and control breaches including employee misconduct, return fraud, and vendor-related risks

  • Review and finalize audit reports with clear findings, root causes, and practical recommendations

  • Present audit findings and risk insights to senior management

  • Collaborate with Finance, Operations, Compliance, Buying, and Retail teams to strengthen governance frameworks

  • Mentor and guide internal audit team members and ensure adherence to best audit practices

Qualifications

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

  • CA / ACCA / CIMA qualification will be an added advantage

Experience & Professional Skills

  • Minimum 5–7 years of internal audit experience, preferably within retail, fashion, FMCG, or multi-location operations

  • Strong knowledge of risk management, internal controls, audit methodologies, and regulatory compliance

  • Proven experience in leading audits and managing audit teams

  • High analytical capability with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills

  • Excellent communication, report writing, and stakeholder management skills

  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
