Role Overview

Our client operates a temperature-controlled warehousing facility and is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to manage refrigeration plant operations and maintenance activities. The role focuses on operational efficiency, equipment reliability, team supervision, and compliance with safety standards within a cold storage environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day refrigeration plant operations

• Supervise and guide refrigeration, MHE, and maintenance technician teams

• Ensure smooth functioning of all equipment through preventive and corrective maintenance

• Support operational efficiency while ensuring compliance with safety standards

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors Degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering

Experience

• Minimum 6+ years of relevant experience

• Experience with refrigeration systems

• Experience managing teams of refrigeration, MHE, and maintenance technicians

• Experience overseeing maintenance activities in a warehouse environment

• Hands-on experience with MHE, refrigeration, temperature-controlled warehousing, and refrigeration plants (preferred)

• Background in Health & Safety will be a strong advantage
