Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Head of Software & Product Development to lead and oversee end-to-end software and product development initiatives. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving strategic delivery across complex digital platforms, ensuring high-quality outcomes across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), while aligning technology execution with business objectives.

The role requires strong leadership of cross-functional teams, robust governance, and the ability to manage large-scale, high-availability systems in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Software & Product Delivery Leadership

• Lead and manage end-to-end software and product delivery across the full SDLC, ensuring scope, timelines, quality standards, and budgets are met.

• Define product and project scope, delivery roadmaps, milestones, schedules, and release plans.

• Ensure consistent, high-quality delivery while balancing scope, resources, technical complexity, and business priorities.

Delivery Oversight & Risk Management

• Monitor delivery performance, resource utilization, delivery efficiency, and overall project and product costs.

• Identify delivery, technical, and operational risks and implement effective mitigation strategies.

• Provide regular dashboards, status reports, and executive-level updates to senior management.

Quality, Compliance & Continuous Improvement

• Oversee testing, QA processes, and quality assurance governance across all deliveries.

• Ensure compliance with ISO standards and that documentation meets audit and regulatory requirements.

• Analyze delivery outcomes, capture lessons learned, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

• Propose and implement process, tooling, and governance enhancements to improve delivery maturity and product quality.

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

• Bachelors or Masters Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Project Management, or Business Administration (MBA), or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 10+ years of experience in software development and delivery.

• Significant experience in senior leadership or head-level roles leading large-scale software and product initiatives.

Preferred Skills / Other Qualifications

• Strong expertise in Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and modern delivery frameworks.

• Solid understanding of SDLC, product lifecycle management, release planning, and delivery governance.

• Professional certifications such as PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, PRINCE2, or equivalent Agile leadership certifications will be a strong advantage.

• Prior experience in online gaming, sportsbook platforms, fintech, or high-volume transaction systems will be an added advantage.

• Hands-on experience with ISO 9001 and ISO 27001, including exposure to compliance and audit requirements.

• Excellent leadership, communication, stakeholder management, and decision-making skills.
