Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Accountant to support day-to-day financial operations, inventory reconciliations, month-end processes, and accounting activities within the apparel industry.

The selected candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate financial records, reconciling inventory-related data, supporting internal controls, and assisting with reporting and audit requirements. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, excellent Excel skills, and the ability to work accurately while managing deadlines in a remote working environment aligned with USA working hours.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting & Financial Operations

• Reconcile inventory data between ERP and operational systems to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Prepare and post month-end journal entries related to relevant accounts and operational expenses.
• Support monthly and quarterly close processes while ensuring compliance with internal controls.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and assist in financial reporting activities.

Inventory & 3PL Reconciliation

• Review, reconcile, and process third-party logistics billing statements.
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies related to inventory, logistics, and billing transactions.
• Collaborate with operations, logistics, and IT teams to resolve inventory differences.
• Support improvements in reconciliation processes and inventory accounting procedures.

Audit & Process Improvement

• Assist with internal and external audits by providing required documentation and explanations.
• Prepare supporting schedules and records related to inventory and logistics transactions.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in accounting processes and financial systems.
• Ensure all accounting activities are completed accurately and within required deadlines.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of accounting experience, preferably in inventory accounting or supply chain-focused roles.
• Experience with ERP systems, especially Blue Cherry and/or Scale, will be highly preferred.

• Experience working with 3PL providers or within the apparel, retail, or manufacturing industry will be an added advantage.
• Familiarity with inventory costing methods and variance analysis.
• Strong Excel skills with the ability to manage, manipulate, and analyze large datasets.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work remotely and remain flexible with USA working hours.
• Good communication skills and the ability to coordinate effectively with cross-functional teams.
