WE ARE HIRING : Contract Officer / Resolution Division

Role Overview
We are looking for highly motivated and detail-oriented individuals to join our clients financial regulatory team as Contract Officers under the Resolution Division. The ideal candidates will assist with data processing, financial reporting, compliance coordination, and resolution planning for licensed financial institutions. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in accounting, banking, or finance to gain exposure in the financial regulatory environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Gather and compile information related to resolution planning, assessments, and execution mechanisms for assigned Licensed Banks (LBs) and Licensed Finance Companies (LFCs).
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders for resolution-related data.
  • Assist with the Resolution Committee proceedings, including agenda preparation and committee documentation.
  • Maintain databases for resolution activities, including lists of administrators and valuers.
  • Manage the divisions file register and ensure all physical and digital records are updated.
  • Support the development of resolution triggers and templates for financial institutions.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Banking, or Finance from a recognized university (UGC recognized).                                    OR

  • G.C.E. Advanced Level (A/L) with three (03) B passes in the Commerce stream (single sitting) and completion of the Corporate Level Examination of CA Sri Lanka.

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in banking, finance, or audit.

  • Preference for candidates with 2+ years of experience in accounting, finance, or banking services.

Skills & Competencies

  • Solid understanding of accounting, banking, and finance principles.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and data systems.

  • Strong report drafting, financial documentation, and data validation skills.

  • Excellent communication and administrative abilities.

  • High attention to detail and accuracy in data management.

  • Strong sense of responsibility and professional integrity.
