Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and technically strong Systems Administrator (AWS & Windows Infrastructure) to support and maintain business-critical production environments across cloud and on-premises infrastructure platforms. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, availability, and performance of enterprise infrastructure while supporting operational excellence and compliance requirements. This role is ideal for a hands-on infrastructure professional with experience in AWS cloud environments, Windows Server administration, automation, troubleshooting, and production support. You will work closely with infrastructure, security, and support teams while contributing to continuous improvement and operational reliability initiatives. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Administer, maintain, and support AWS-based production environments and enterprise infrastructure platforms.
  • Manage AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and related cloud technologies.
  • Utilize AWS Systems Manager (SSM) for automated patch management, configuration management, and operational automation.
  • Administer Windows Server environments (2016–2025), ensuring security, stability, and performance.
  • Manage and maintain Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, IIS, and related Microsoft technologies.
  • Perform Level 2 and Level 3 troubleshooting for infrastructure, systems, and production-related issues.
  • Support incident management activities and participate in rapid issue resolution processes.
  • Monitor system performance and proactively identify potential infrastructure risks and operational issues.
  • Execute backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity procedures to ensure operational resilience.
  • Develop automation scripts and operational tools using PowerShell.
  • Support server patching, system upgrades, maintenance windows, and infrastructure improvements.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure service availability and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain accurate system documentation, configuration records, and operational procedures.
  • Support compliance initiatives and infrastructure controls in line with organizational requirements.
  • Participate in on-call rotations and provide support during scheduled maintenance activities and critical incidents.
  • Identify opportunities to improve infrastructure reliability, automation, and operational efficiency.

Candidate Profile

  • 3–5 years of hands-on experience supporting production environments within cloud and infrastructure operations.
  • Strong experience with AWS cloud services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and AWS Systems Manager (SSM).
  • Strong experience administering Windows Server 2016–2025 environments.
  • Solid expertise in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, and IIS.
  • Advanced PowerShell scripting skills for automation, administration, and operational support.
  • Strong troubleshooting experience across infrastructure, server, cloud, and application environments.
  • Experience supporting high-availability production environments.
  • Knowledge of backup management, disaster recovery, and business continuity processes.
  • Experience with incident management and operational support activities.
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation will be an advantage.
  • Basic SQL Server administration knowledge will be beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced operational environment.
  • Comfortable participating in on-call support rotations and off-hours maintenance activities.

Preferred Certifications

  • AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate
  • Microsoft Certified: Hybrid Administrator Associate
  • Other cloud, infrastructure, or systems administration certifications will be considered an advantage.
