Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Information Technology (Head of IT) to lead the organization's technology function, digital transformation initiatives, SAP implementation programs, and enterprise IT operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving business-aligned technology strategies, overseeing SAP implementation and integration, managing IT infrastructure and security, ensuring operational excellence, and supporting the organization's long-term growth through innovative and scalable technology solutions. This role requires a strong technology leader with expertise in ERP systems, enterprise applications, IT governance, cybersecurity, vendor management, infrastructure management, and business process optimization. 

Key Responsibilities 

SAP Implementation & Digital Transformation

• Lead and oversee SAP implementation, configuration, integration, and optimization across the organization.
• Ensure successful alignment of SAP solutions with business processes and organizational objectives.
• Coordinate with business users, SAP consultants, implementation partners, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Oversee data migration, testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), system integration, and post-implementation support activities.
• Drive user adoption initiatives and ensure the successful utilization of SAP systems across business functions.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and digital transformation to enhance business efficiency.

IT Strategy & Leadership

• Develop and execute the overall IT strategy in alignment with organizational goals and business priorities.
• Translate business requirements into practical technology solutions that support growth and operational excellence.
• Provide strategic guidance on technology investments, infrastructure expansion, and enterprise systems.
• Lead the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, standards, and governance frameworks.
• Continuously evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions that create competitive advantage.

Infrastructure, Security & Operations

• Oversee all technology operations, including infrastructure, networks, hardware, software, cloud services, and cybersecurity.
• Ensure the availability, reliability, and security of all IT systems and business applications.
• Manage network security, system performance, disaster recovery, and business continuity initiatives.
• Monitor IT infrastructure and ensure optimal performance of systems and services.
• Identify and implement technology upgrades, enhancements, and modernization initiatives.
• Maintain compliance with information security standards and best practices.

Technology Governance & Vendor Management

• Manage vendor relationships and ensure effective delivery of technology-related services.
• Negotiate contracts, service agreements, software licenses, and technology procurement arrangements.
• Evaluate technology vendors, products, software solutions, and business systems.
• Ensure cost-effective acquisition and utilization of hardware, software, and IT services.
• Build long-term partnerships with technology providers and implementation partners.

People Management & Team Leadership

• Lead, mentor, and develop IT managers, engineers, system administrators, developers, and support teams.
• Build a high-performing technology organization capable of supporting business growth.
• Promote innovation, accountability, continuous learning, and operational excellence within the IT function.
• Provide guidance and performance management across all technology teams.
• Support talent development and succession planning initiatives.

Financial & Operational Management

• Manage the overall IT budget, expenditures, and technology investments.
• Monitor technology-related costs and ensure optimal return on investment.
• Prepare management reports relating to IT performance, projects, budgets, and operational activities.
• Support business planning through technology roadmaps and investment recommendations.
• Ensure all projects and operational activities are completed within timelines and budgets.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
• A Master's Degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field will be an added advantage.
• Proven experience in a senior IT leadership role such as Head of IT, IT Manager, IT Director, CIO, or a similar position.
• Extensive experience managing enterprise ERP implementations, preferably SAP.
• Strong knowledge of SAP implementation, system integration, data migration, testing, and support processes.
• Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, business applications, and IT infrastructure management.
• Hands-on experience in network security, cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and business continuity planning.
• Strong experience managing software development and enterprise systems projects.
• Demonstrated ability to align technology solutions with business objectives.
• Strong vendor management, procurement, and contract negotiation experience.
• Experience managing large IT teams and cross-functional projects.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience within manufacturing, apparel, or ERP-driven environments will be a strong advantage.
