Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth within the freight forwarding and logistics sector. This role focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and executing effective business development and marketing strategies to expand market presence and revenue streams.
Key Responsibilities
Business Development

Identify and target potential clients within the freight forwarding and logistics industry.

Develop and execute strategic plans to expand the customer base and generate new revenue streams.

Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective clients through market research, networking, and lead generation.
Client Relationship Management

Establish and nurture long-term relationships with existing and new clients by understanding their needs and ensuring high-quality service delivery.

Act as the primary point of contact for key clients, addressing inquiries, concerns, and service requirements promptly.
Marketing & Growth Strategy

Develop and implement marketing and business development strategies aligned with organizational goals.

Plan and execute marketing initiatives including digital campaigns, trade shows, and industry events.
Collaboration & Internal Coordination

Work closely with operations teams to ensure seamless service execution and customer satisfaction.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with overall business objectives.
Qualifications & Experience
Educational Qualifications

Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Transportation, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Experience

Minimum 5 years of experience in business development or marketing within the logistics or freight forwarding industry.
Preferred Skills / Other Qualifications

Strong understanding of logistics operations, freight forwarding processes, and supply chain dynamics.

Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships at all levels.

Proven ability to develop and execute successful business development and marketing strategies.

Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
