Role Overview 

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven Production Manager to oversee daily production operations related to vehicle interior customization. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring timely delivery of customer orders, maintaining the highest quality standards, optimizing production processes, and leading production teams to achieve operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership, production planning expertise, and the ability to manage resources effectively while maintaining a safe, productive, and quality-focused manufacturing environment. 

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production operations related to vehicle interior customization and manufacturing activities.
• Ensure all customer orders are completed on time and meet required quality standards.
• Plan, schedule, and coordinate production activities to maximize efficiency and productivity.
• Allocate manpower, materials, and resources effectively to meet production targets.
• Supervise, guide, and motivate production staff to achieve operational objectives.
• Monitor workflow and identify opportunities to improve production efficiency and throughput.
• Coordinate closely with Sales and Customer Service teams to align production schedules with customer requirements.
• Manage inventory, raw materials, and production consumables to support uninterrupted operations.
• Maintain effective housekeeping, workplace organization, and operational discipline across production areas.
• Ensure production equipment, machinery, and tools are properly maintained and available for operations.
• Track and analyze production performance metrics and operational KPIs.
• Identify bottlenecks, operational challenges, and quality concerns while implementing corrective actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality enhancement, and cost control.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and workplace regulations within the manufacturing environment.
• Support the development and implementation of best practices across production processes.

Candidate Profile

• Proven experience in Production Management or Production Supervision within manufacturing, automotive interiors, upholstery, or a related industry.
• Strong expertise in production planning, scheduling, workflow coordination, and resource allocation.
• Experience managing production targets, quality requirements, and operational deadlines.
• Good understanding of quality control processes, materials management, and production operations.
• Ability to lead, train, develop, and motivate diverse production teams.
• Experience in performance management, team development, and conflict resolution.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
• Ability to identify opportunities for process improvement, operational efficiency, and cost reduction.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations within workshop or factory environments.
• Strong computer literacy with experience using production tracking systems, spreadsheets, and business communication tools.
• Good communication skills in English and local languages.
• Relevant vocational training, diploma, or qualification in Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Production Management, or a related technical field.
• Higher professional qualifications will be an added advantage.
• Previous experience within the automotive industry, vehicle interior customization, upholstery, seat covers, carpets, laminations, and related materials will be highly advantageous.
