Role Overview

The Junior Capacity Planning Analyst supports workforce and workload planning within the Conveyancing function by monitoring capacity, tracking volumes, supporting training plans, and delivering data-driven insights. Working closely with Business Analysts, Conveyancing Managers, and Operations teams, the role helps ensure effective resource utilisation, efficient service delivery, and achievement of operational targets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor daily, weekly, and monthly conveyancing volumes, pipeline inflow, and workload allocations

  • Track team capacity against demand and identify potential over- or under-utilisation risks

  • Support short-term and medium-term capacity forecasting based on volume trends, productivity, and attrition

  • Assist in resource allocation planning across teams to balance workloads effectively

  • Maintain and update capacity planning trackers, dashboards, and reports

  • Identify trends, bottlenecks, and efficiency gaps and escalate insights with recommendations

  • Work closely with Conveyancing Managers and Deputy Managers to understand on-the-ground capacity challenges

  • Support decision-making related to hiring needs and team rebalancing

  • Assist Business Analyst teams in process reviews and continuous improvement initiatives

  • Support standardisation and improvement of capacity planning processes and reporting

  • Ensure accuracy, consistency, and timeliness of data across systems and trackers

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration, Management, Operations Management, Finance, Economics, or Statistics
    OR

  • Degree in Business Analytics, Data Analytics, or Management Information Systems

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering or Operations Research will be an added advantage

Professional / Technical Exposure (Added Advantage)

  • Coursework or certification in Workforce Planning, Capacity Planning, or Business Analytics

  • Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or similar reporting tools

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong analytical and numerical skills

  • High attention to detail and data accuracy

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (formulas, pivot tables, data analysis)

  • Ability to interpret trends and convert data into actionable insights

  • Strong coordination and communication skills

  • Ability to work collaboratively with operations and analytics teams
