Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer with strong expertise in Laravel development and hands-on exposure to AWS and DevOps practices. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building scalable, high-performance web applications, optimizing cloud-based infrastructure, and ensuring smooth deployment cycles. This role requires a strong engineering mindset, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, deploy, and maintain Laravel/PHP web applications.

• Manage, monitor, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure (ECS, RDS, Lambda, CloudWatch, S3, etc.).

• Build, maintain, and debug containerized applications.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines following industry standards.

• Continuously monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in cloud-based applications.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure reliable, efficient, and secure application deployments.

• Implement and maintain cloud cost-optimization measures and infrastructure governance.

• Ensure application security, scalability, and best practices in deployment and monitoring.

Required Skills & Experience

• Strong proficiency in Laravel framework and PHP development.

• 3+ years of industry experience, including 2+ years in Laravel development and 12 years in AWS/DevOps.

• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, CloudWatch, SQS, and S3.

• Experience designing and maintaining containerized architectures (Docker, ECS).

• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Bitbucket Pipelines, etc.).

• Good understanding of microservices, distributed systems, queues, caching, and API integrations.

• Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (CloudWatch, Grafana, Kibana).

• Strong troubleshooting skills and an analytical mindset for scalable system design.

• Awareness of cloud best practices, especially in security and performance optimization.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Terraform or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).

• Exposure to networking, virtualization, and container orchestration.

• Understanding of load balancing, autoscaling, and resilience engineering in AWS.
