Finance Manager

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end finance operations at a large-scale operational facility in Sri Lanka. The role plays a critical part in financial governance, performance management, cost control, and strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate will be a strong financial leader with hands-on operational finance experience and the ability to partner with cross-functional teams to drive business performance and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all finance operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
• Ensure accuracy, integrity, and compliance in financial records in line with statutory, regulatory, and internal control requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team to ensure high performance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to support business growth, operational efficiency, and decision-making.
• Monitor financial KPIs, analyze variances, and implement corrective actions to enhance cost efficiency and profitability.
• Collaborate with operations, commercial, and senior management teams to manage financial risks and support operational initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives in financial processes, systems, and controls.
• Support audits, statutory reporting, and liaison with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required.

Qualifications & Experience

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a professional qualification such as CA, CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5–8 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, preferably within large-scale, operational, or multinational environments.
• Proven experience in managing finance teams and leading end-to-end finance functions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and strategic thinking skills with sound commercial awareness.
• Hands-on experience with ERP systems and financial reporting tools; exposure to regional or international operations will be an added advantage.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
