Role Overview

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Sales Operations Manager – Retail Channel to lead and optimize the performance of company-owned retail outlets. The role is responsible for driving sales growth, profitability, operational excellence, and delivering a consistent customer experience across all retail locations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive sales growth, store profitability, and key retail KPIs across all company-owned outlets

  • Ensure consistent store operations, adherence to SOPs, visual merchandising standards, and service quality

  • Lead, coach, and performance-manage regional teams, store managers, and retail staff

  • Oversee inventory management, shrinkage control, cash handling, and audit compliance

  • Leverage POS / ERP systems and retail analytics to improve store performance and decision-making

  • Partner closely with Marketing, Supply Chain, HR, and Finance teams to ensure smooth and efficient retail operations

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Degree or MBA in Business Management

Experience

  • 10+ years of experience in store retail operations (company-owned formats preferred)
    OR

  • Field sales leadership experience (FMCG sector preferred)

  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving store profitability

Skills & Competencies

  • Strong understanding of retail KPIs, inventory management, and store operations

  • Strong analytical mindset with experience using dashboards and sales analytics

  • Excellent people leadership skills with an execution-focused management style

  • Ability to drive operational discipline while maintaining customer experience standards
