Role Overview

Our client is seeking an Engineer – Project Sales to drive the market introduction and sales of generators and power systems. The role focuses on business development, technical sales, customer engagement, and collaboration with internal teams to deliver effective power solutions across key sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive market introduction and sales of a new line of generators and power systems

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to build awareness and generate demand in industrial, commercial, and government sectors

  • Identify new business opportunities and manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure

  • Conduct customer visits, technical consultations, and site assessments to propose suitable power solutions

  • Collaborate with technical and service teams to ensure optimal project delivery and customer satisfaction

  • Provide market insights and customer feedback to management to support future strategy and product positioning

Qualifications & Experience

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or Power Engineering, or a related discipline

Experience

  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in sales of generators, electrical equipment, or power solutions

Technical Skills

  • Strong technical understanding of diesel and gas generators, ATS, synchronization systems, and electrical distribution

Skills & Competencies

  • Proven ability to establish new markets and grow customer bases

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills

  • Goal-oriented, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision

Other Requirements

  • Valid riding or driving license

  • Willingness and readiness to travel across Sri Lanka
