Role Overview

Our client is seeking a Senior Executive / Assistant Manager – Sales to drive business growth through lead generation, client acquisition, and relationship management within the freight, shipping, and logistics sector. The role focuses on achieving sales targets, supporting marketing initiatives, and strengthening customer retention and profitability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and convert sales leads into prospects and long-term customers

  • Achieve assigned sales targets by strategically identifying and penetrating target markets

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing customers to improve retention and profitability

  • Prepare and present periodic sales reports in line with agreed timelines

  • Monitor and evaluate individual performance through visit plans, action plans, and target achievement reports to meet or exceed monthly sales budgets

  • Prepare quotations, proposals, presentations, and agreements/contracts as required by the marketing team

  • Contribute to marketing planning by providing accurate and timely information on internal and external market environments to support decision-making

Qualifications & Experience

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Experience in Freight, Shipping, or Logistics

Educational Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in Marketing, Logistics, or an equivalent professional qualification will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

  • Excellent command of the English language (written and spoken)

  • Strong proficiency in MS Office applications and ERP systems

  • Sound negotiation, analytical, and interpersonal skills

  • Outgoing, confident, and sociable personality with a results-oriented mindset
