Role Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled AML/CFT IT Officer to support financial data management and regulatory reporting functions. This role focuses on managing AML/CFT systems, supporting reporting institutions, and ensuring compliance with financial intelligence and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support AML/CFT reporting systems including goAML platform
• Handle user management activities such as registrations, access control, and system support
  
• Validate, troubleshoot, and process regulatory reports including STR and threshold reports
• Act as the primary point of contact for reporting institutions for system-related queries
  
• Coordinate with stakeholders to resolve technical and reporting issues
• Conduct training sessions and develop user guides for system users
  
• Monitor data accuracy, reporting quality, and system compliance requirements
• Support data analysis, reporting improvements, and system enhancements
  
• Ensure adherence to regulatory frameworks and internal policies

Candidate Profile

• Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in IT, data management, or financial systems
• Experience in banking, finance, compliance, or regulatory environments will be an added advantage

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of database management and data analysis
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau)
  
• Knowledge of Python or other programming languages
• Familiarity with AML/CFT systems and regulatory reporting frameworks
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills in English and Sinhala/Tamil
  
• Proficiency in MS Office applications
