Role Overview

We are seeking an energetic, target-driven, and commercially focused Account Manager – UAV Division to strengthen customer relationships and drive business growth within the UAV, drone technology, and geospatial solutions sector.

The selected candidate will be responsible for managing client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, supporting pre-sales activities, preparing proposals, coordinating with technical teams, maintaining sales pipelines, and promoting advanced UAV and geospatial solutions across government and private sector clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build and manage strong client relationships across government and private sector entities.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within UAV, drone technology, geospatial, surveying, and industrial technology solutions.
  • Actively engage in pre-sales activities, including client meetings, requirement gathering, proposal preparation, and solution presentations.
  • Understand customer requirements and convert technical solutions into practical business value propositions.
  • Prepare sales proposals, quotations, presentations, and commercial recommendations.
  • Pitch UAV and geospatial solutions to prospective and existing customers.
  • Generate qualified leads and maintain a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Identify new market segments and support proactive business development initiatives.
  • Coordinate with UAV operations teams, GIS analysts, technical teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Ensure seamless project delivery and continuous client satisfaction.
  • Follow up on customer inquiries, proposals, project updates, and pending opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, client documentation, CRM updates, and opportunity tracking records.
  • Represent the business at industry events, product demonstrations, client presentations, and promotional activities.
  • Promote UAV solutions and support brand visibility in relevant market segments.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, customer needs, and emerging technology opportunities.
  • Ensure timely collection of payments while maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Develop and nurture long-term strategic partnerships with customers and stakeholders.
  • Prepare regular sales reports, pipeline updates, customer feedback summaries, and management reports.
  • Perform any other account management, sales, or business development duties assigned by management.

Candidate Profile

  • Degree or diploma in Business Management, Marketing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in account management, business development, technical sales, or solution sales.
  • Experience in UAV, drone technology, geospatial solutions, GIS, surveying, ICT solutions, or technical solution sales will be a strong advantage.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and translate them into customer-focused value propositions.
  • Proven ability to build customer relationships and manage strategic accounts.
  • Strong business development, lead generation, and pipeline management skills.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong coordination and multi-tasking ability.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional technical teams.
  • Good customer relationship management and follow-up skills.
  • Target-driven, proactive, and result-oriented personality.
  • Strong interest in emerging technology solutions.
  • Good reporting, documentation, and CRM usage skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple client opportunities.
  • Professional, accountable, and committed to delivering customer satisfaction.
  • A valid driving license will be an added advantage.
