Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced, customer-focused, and creative Outlet Supervisor/ Lounge Supervisor to lead kitchen operations, manage lounge activities, and deliver an exceptional customer experience within a premium tea lounge environment.

The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing food preparation, menu development, kitchen staff management, stock control, customer service, and daily lounge operations while maintaining high standards of quality, presentation, hygiene, and service excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage daily kitchen and lounge operations.
• Control and direct the food preparation process and all related culinary activities.
• Create and develop menus using new and existing culinary concepts.
• Ensure menu offerings maintain variety, quality, consistency, and attractive presentation.
• Plan ingredient, equipment, and stock requirements based on operational needs.
• Monitor stock levels and ensure proper inventory control.
• Coordinate purchasing requirements and minimize shortages or wastage.
• Supervise food preparation, portioning, plating, and service standards.
• Ensure food quality, hygiene, cleanliness, and safety standards are maintained at all times.
• Manage, train, guide, and motivate kitchen and lounge staff.
• Support hiring and onboarding of kitchen and service staff when required.
• Allocate staff duties and monitor performance during daily operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure a pleasant lounge experience.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and related parties.
• Handle customer feedback, complaints, and service concerns professionally.
• Support branding, promotional activities, and customer-experience improvement initiatives.
• Maintain proper coordination between kitchen, service, and management teams.
• Ensure smooth service during busy periods, weekends, holidays, and special events.
• Use Microsoft Office applications for records, reports, stock details, and operational documentation.
• Maintain accurate records relating to stock, staff schedules, purchases, and daily operations.
• Work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment while maintaining service quality.
• Perform any other duties assigned by management in line with the role.

Candidate Profile

• Passed GCE Advanced Level.
• Culinary diploma or equivalent professional qualification will be an advantage.
• 1 - 3 years of experience in a similar role within hospitality, restaurant, café, lounge, hotel, or food and beverage operations.
• Strong experience in food preparation, menu planning, kitchen supervision, and service operations.
• Experience managing kitchen staff and coordinating daily operational activities.
• Good knowledge of stock control, inventory management, and ordering processes.
• Good knowledge of food safety, hygiene, kitchen standards, and quality control.
• Fluency in English is required.
• Ability to speak additional languages will be an added advantage.
• Excellent customer service, team management, and interpersonal skills.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Creative thinking and passion for food, hospitality, branding, and customer experience.
• Strong relationship-building skills with customers and business partners.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and target-driven environment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Self-motivated, responsible, organized, and able to work with minimum supervision.
