Role Overview 

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Engineer to serve as the technical backbone of our sales and business development operations across Africa and the Middle East. This role is primarily focused on providing technical support, managing principal relationships, coordinating product approvals, and ensuring the smooth execution of business development initiatives from a technical and documentation perspective. The successful candidate will act as a critical link between sales teams, principals, regulatory authorities, and internal stakeholders, ensuring the timely preparation of technical submissions, quotations, approvals, and product-related documentation. 

Key Responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical liaison between front-line sales teams and internal as well as external stakeholders.
• Provide technical support to business development activities across Africa and the Middle East.
• Prepare accurate and competitive technical and commercial quotations based on customer requirements.
• Review technical specifications and recommend suitable products and solutions.
• Manage communication and maintain strong working relationships with principals and manufacturers.
• Coordinate with principals on product availability, pricing, technical specifications, and technical support requirements.
• Lead the end-to-end documentation process for product approvals and certifications with relevant regulatory authorities.
• Prepare, coordinate, and submit technical documentation required for product registrations and approvals.
• Follow up with regulatory bodies, government entities, consultants, and approving authorities to expedite approval processes.
• Monitor approval and certification status while ensuring compliance with local market requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of certifications, approvals, registrations, and technical submissions.
• Support tender submissions and ensure all technical documentation requirements are completed accurately and on time.
• Coordinate multiple principal accounts and projects simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines.
• Provide technical clarification and support to customers and internal teams as required.
• Stay updated on market-specific approval requirements and regulatory changes across Africa and the Middle East.

Candidate Profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 2–4 years of experience in a technical support, sales engineering, quotations, or back-office engineering role.
• Strong understanding of electrical products, systems, and technical documentation.
• Experience preparing technical and commercial quotations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Strong ability to coordinate with customers, principals, consultants, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Experience managing technical documentation and approval submissions.
• Familiarity with product approval and certification processes within African and/or Middle Eastern markets will be a strong advantage.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
• High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination capabilities.
• Ability to work independently while supporting multiple business functions.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong relationship management capabilities.
