Role Overview

The role involves evaluating gold articles, providing fair disbursements, achieving business targets, and ensuring compliance with established company policies and regulatory guidelines. You will also support business growth through promotions, marketing initiatives, and cross-selling financial products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate gold articles accurately and provide fair loan disbursements.
• Supervise branch operations, ensuring completion of end-of-day tasks.
• Monitor and maintain Non-Performing Loans (NPL) and overdue accounts at branch level.
• Follow up on auction processes, ensuring timely execution in line with policies.
• Prepare and submit monthly compliance reports (AML, Positive Assurance Framework, etc.).
• Support branches in achieving overall business and sales targets.
• Participate in internal and external promotions and awareness programs for gold loan services.
• Execute duties assigned by the Head Office Gold Loan Department on weekly, monthly, and yearly bases.
• Promote cross-selling of other financial products and services to existing and new customers.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2 years experience in Executive or Senior Executive roles in finance or banking.
• Sound knowledge of gold article identification, gold loan operations, credit evaluation, and financial products.
• Proven experience in business development and market insights.
• Competency in MS Office and related computer systems.
• Strong communication skills in Sinhala and English (Tamil proficiency is an added advantage).
