About the Role:

The Pre-Sales Engineer plays a crucial role in driving revenue growth by independently managing the cybersecurity pre-sales process. This role bridges the gap between technical solutions and business needs, ensuring clients receive strategic guidance and technical expertise aligned with sales objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

Leadership:

• Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights on cybersecurity solutions tailored to their needs.
• Collaborate with sales and technical teams to drive business opportunities and close deals.
• Lead technical discussions with customers, demonstrating deep expertise in cybersecurity solutions.

Strategy:

• Develop and execute pre-sales strategies aligned with company goals and market trends.
• Identify and assess customer needs to propose appropriate cybersecurity solutions.
• Maintain relationships with key stakeholders to drive business opportunities.

Tactics:

• Support the sales cycle by responding to RFI (Request for Information), BOM (Bill of Material), and RFP (Request for Proposal).
• Conduct product demonstrations, presentations, and proofs of concept.
• Work closely with global sales and technical teams to qualify leads and design appropriate solutions.

Core Skills & Expertise:

• Strong communication & presentation skills Ability to convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
• Deep understanding of cybersecurity technologies, sales processes, and methodologies.
• Ability to articulate value propositions and position solutions effectively.
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple pre-sales engagements simultaneously.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in cybersecurity pre-sales or related roles.
• Technical expertise in relevant cybersecurity technologies and solutions.
