WE ARE HIRING: Head of IT

• Location: Colombo

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the full IT function including infrastructure, systems, applications, cybersecurity, and IT operations.
• Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with business goals to ensure scalability, efficiency, and security.
• Ensure robust disaster recovery plans and risk management processes are in place for business continuity.
• Collaborate with internal teams to drive digital transformation and improve operational processes.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies and systems that support business growth and innovation.
• Manage vendor relationships and ensure compliance with IT governance and data protection regulations.
• Lead, mentor, and build a high-performing IT team with clear KPIs and project delivery accountability.
• Monitor IT budgets, assess ROI, and implement cost-optimization strategies.

Requirements:

• 20-25 years of overall experience in IT with proven leadership in strategic roles.
• Strong background in infrastructure, system implementation, applications, and cybersecurity.
• Prior experience in the FMCG industry or similar operational environments is preferred.
• Bachelors degree in IT, Computer Science, or a related field; Masters or professional certifications are an advantage.
• Excellent leadership, decision-making, and stakeholder engagement skills.
• Proven experience in driving digital innovation across departments.
• Strong proficiency in English with the ability to align IT strategies with broader business objectives.
