Job Summary:

We are looking for a Credit Control Assistant to manage international and local receivables for our Freight Services department. The ideal candidate will ensure the timely collection of outstanding payments, maintain accurate records, support internal reporting, and reduce overdue balances. This role plays a vital part in ensuring financial efficiency and protecting the company from credit risk.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Generate and send Statement of Accounts (SOA) twice a month for assigned customers.

  • Proactively follow up on due payments via email and escalate non-responses as required.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of follow-ups in Excel for internal reviews.

  • Coordinate with the banking team to allocate received payments accurately.

  • Attend weekly internal credit control meetings and provide status updates.

  • Ensure all activities are aligned with CSP 15.9 compliance standards.

  • Prepare Corrective and Preventive Action Reports (CPARs) for any deviations.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Minimum 1- 2 years of experience in a finance or accounts receivable role.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.

  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal).

  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Knowledge of freight services or logistics is a plus.
