The Job Role
- Achieve and exceed pre-agreed sales targets (Minimum sales target: 4 times the CTC).
- Conduct proactive prospecting and client visits to promote GLL's freight forwarding and logistics services. Maintain and strengthen long-term, positive relationships with existing and new customers.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through ownership of issues and end-to-end resolution.
- Handle RFQs, pricing, rate negotiations, and follow up on sales leads.
- Expand and manage agency and partner networks for international freight movement.
- Take full responsibility for client dues, monitor receivables, and ensure timely collections.
- Represent GLL in negotiations and partnership development with key industry players including ocean carriers, airlines, 3PL providers, transporters, depots, and warehouses.
Skills and Experienced Required
- Good understanding of sales concepts, methods, and techniques.
- Minimum 2+ years of experience in freight forwarding or logistics sales with an established customer base.
- Strong industry knowledge and awareness of freight operations and market dynamics.
- Proven ability in networking, relationship-building, and stakeholder management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and general computer literacy.
