WE ARE HIRING: Assistant Manager - Business Development

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new sales leads while nurturing existing client relationships. Build strong customer rapport through excellent service and regular engagement. Prepare quotations and customized solutions in collaboration with the HOD.
Maintain a healthy sales pipeline with active follow-ups on prospects.
Support customer retention and growth through BTL marketing initiatives.
Schedule and attend client meetings aligned with performance targets.
Conduct market research to uncover new opportunities and customer segments.
Represent the company at industry events and share insights internally.
Collaborate with the HOD on new service offerings and sales strategies.
Assist in the sales cycle by tracking account activity and supporting deal closures.
Coordinate with credit control to ensure timely collections.
Clearly communicate client needs and pitch tailored logistics solutions.
Maintain daily records of calls and client visits for transparency.
Review and update the sales pipeline weekly to monitor progress.

Qualifications and Experience Required

Degree or Diploma in Logistics, or professional qualification in SLIM/CIM.
Minimum 5 years of overall experience, with at least 3 years in the logistics sector.
Exposure to 3PL operations is essential; warehouse experience will be an added advantage.
Proficient in advanced Microsoft Excel.
