Requirements:

Candidate Profile

• Minimum 5 years work experience in Shipping & Logistics industry Freight Forwarding, Shipping (container lines) in in Front Office / Back Office experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• Graduate of any education stream
• Team-oriented and able to manage a team
• Has ability to manage difficult situations and stress-associated
• Minimum 5 years managing back-office operations for a Shipping / Freight Forwarding Company
• Currently managing a team (minimum of 10 15 in team size)
• Good communication skills (English command both verbal and written)
• Good problem-solving skills and decision-making ability
• Good analytical and presentation skills
• Knowledge in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and Outlook
• Should be flexible to work in all shifts and in week offs as per requirement
• Should be ready to work for extended hours as per requirement

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Day-to-day Operations

• Ensure proper execution of tasks assigned to agents
• Provides quality checking
• Assist in follow-ups and monitoring of pending items on a weekly basis
• Participate in and/or suggest process improvement ideas
• Assist in monitoring attendance and tardiness of agents
• Assist in the review of DPMs (Desk Procedural Manuals)
• Assist in quarterly FMEA (Failure Mode and Effect Analysis) Reviews
• Assist in Escalation Management
• Conduct process training when required

Business Reporting

• Assist in the creation and sending of weekly performance reports
• Review performance results with the Deputy Manager on a weekly basis
• Prepare Minutes of the Meeting

Office Environment

• Maintain high motivation level among the team
