Job Title : Tech Lead ( IT Industry )

  • Working Days : Monday to Friday + additional hours based on workload requirements
  • Work Hours : 6:30 am to 4:30 pm (IST)

Requirements :

  • Bachelors degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience 
  • Minimum of 5 years or more hands-on work experience in an off-shore Service Desk environment
  • Major Microsoft certification (Azure, MCSE, MCSA, MCITP SA or EA) not required but a plus
  • Excellent Communications skills, founded in being a good listener, clear and precise
  • Expertise in configuration and deployment of major Microsoft technologies including Entra ID, Intune, Office365, SharePoint, Teams and On-Premise Operating Systems
  • Experience in configuration and deployment of Firewalls, Switches, Wireless Access Points and VPN technologies
  • Experience working for a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or IT Support Business
  • Familiarity with MSP tools like Autotask PSA, Datto RMM and BCDR, BrightGauge and Hudu
  • Familiarity with PowerShell and other scripting languages for application deployment, reporting and automation
  • A deep desire to deliver excellent service to our clients the STS Way
  • Experience in working with PSA systems (Autotask, ConnectWise Manage etc.)
  • Experience in working with RMM systems (N-central, Datto RMM etc.)
  • Experience in working with IT-Glue

Responsibilities : 

  • Be a point of contact for service issues & escalations for clients
  • Support the Service Desk department by actively helping with after-hours, overnight proactive and reactive tickets
  • Support our Professional Services department by actively helping with objectives, tasks, projects, and initiatives, provide QA\QC and at times coverage during an absence
  • Support our Cloud Services department by actively helping with objectives, tasks, projects, and initiatives, provide QA\QC and at times coverage during an absence
  • Support our Centralized Services department by actively helping with objectives, tasks, projects, and initiatives; provide QA\QC and at times coverage during an absence
  • Support our Internal IT department by actively helping with objectives, tasks, projects, and initiatives
  • Support our internal compliance manager and champion for continually achieving SOC2 certification
  • Participate in the On-Call rotation and provide on-call support for escalation and overflow tickets
  • Support the team and clients with any unusual/high-level issues that arise
