Country Manager Opportunity

1. Working Hours: 6:30 AM 3:30 PM
2. Working Days: Mon-Fri
3. Working Method (Onsite, Hybrid, Remote): We currently run a hybrid working model but expect the Country Manager to be in the office a minimum of 4 days per week and full time when first starting with us to aid learning and relationship building.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

• Act as a brand ambassador and country lead, promoting the company across the local economic and political environments.
• Build and maintain a positive work environment and culture, with the priority being to attract and retain the right staff.
• Support line managers (both local and overseas) in the optimisation of performance of our people, including determination of capabilities, remuneration, motivation, and performance management.
• Ensure local staff are trained and equipped to work efficiently across different cultures, with predominantly Australian based customers.
• Actively promote the benefits to be gained from the use of the local operation, leading to a more efficient and profitable overall business.
• Build long-term, strategic relationships with key stakeholders, influencing the development and enhancement of products and services.
• Demonstrate effective financial control and decision making, ensuring that all financial targets are met.
• Establish and maintain a strategy for addressing risks arising from local business operations, and from local economic, environmental, cultural, and political considerations.
• Work with other Country Managers to ensure there is efficient leverage and a minimum of duplication across all operations.
