Job Title : Head of Finance / Finance Lead

• Working hours:  Standard 45 hours per week
• Working days: Monday to Friday

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent in Accounting and/or Finance related field
• Qualified in CA, CIMA or ACCA
• At least 10-15 years proven experience in Finance. Experience in the manufacturing industry is preferred
• Strong leadership skills
• The ability to navigate the many embedded operational tensions and complexities
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, communications skills and ability to engage and influence others.
• Self-starter mentality
• Strong analytical capabilities with business modeling and forecasting experience
• Strong communication skills and ability to engage and influence others.
• Strong ability in managing multiple stakeholders, projects, and deadlines, with strong analytical & negotiation skills and can do mentality.
• Appetite for change and eagerness to collaborating with stakeholders to drive through improvements.
• Team Leadership
• Collaborative, team player who focuses on team success above self
• Experienced in stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Ensure full transparency of costs and financial impact to the organization or strategic decisions
• Lead annual business planning process, budgeting, forecasting and actual reporting
• Generate independent commentary and insights for the company leadership team, so that the leadership can take informed decisions that impact overall company performance
• Establish and track key performance indicators and objectives to drive better performance across the business
• Participate in and evaluate restructuring projects and ensure robust financial justifications
• Play an active role, in giving financial advice on key company strategic growth initiatives, such as new businesses, acquisitions, etc
• Approach challenges in a new way, and provide solutions keeping company health as top priority
• Play an active role in driving for change and continuous improvement in the business and within finance; identify areas that require improvement.
• Play an active role in people development and succession planning within the team
• Champion a culture of business excellence within finance
