Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• 3+ years of experience in database administration and management with Microsoft SQL Server.

• Proficiency in T-SQL, with experience in writing and optimizing complex queries, stored procedures, and functions.

• Experience with database performance tuning and optimization.

• Knowledge of database security best practices and experience implementing security measures.

• Familiarity with high availability and disaster recovery solutions for MSSQL.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Design and implement database solutions that meet business requirements.

• Develop, implement, and optimize stored procedures and functions using T-SQL.

• Perform regular database maintenance tasks such as indexing, backups, and restores.

• Monitor database performance and optimize queries for maximum efficiency.

• Ensure database security by implementing access controls and encryption.

• Analyze and tune database performance issues, using tools such as SQL Profiler and Database Engine Tuning Advisor.

• Identify and resolve database performance bottlenecks.

• Implement and maintain data integrity through the use of constraints, triggers, and foreign keys.

• Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations and best practices for data security.

• Design and implement disaster recovery solutions, including replication, log shipping, and Always on Availability Groups.

• Ensure high availability of database systems through clustering and failover techniques.
