Requirements:

• 5+ years demonstrated experience working in penetration testing.
• Demonstrated experience working across a broad range of technologies including networks, operating systems, and software development.
• Tertiary Qualification in information systems, software development or similar.
• Penetration Testing certifications are highly regarded
• In depth experience with security assessment tools and distributions.
• Effective time management capability; able to organize and plan own work and meet deadlines.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• A strong work ethic, a passion for information security and a drive to continuously learn.
• Great communication and collaboration skills.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Tasks and Responsibilities:

Penetration testers use their knowledge and expertise to assess possible security vulnerabilities and threats. Specialists will be able to use a range of security testing tools along with manual methodologies to test the resilience of networks, systems and applications

• Perform penetration tests and vulnerability assessments
• Work with a diverse range of customers to identify and solve security problems
• Assist account managers with technical aspects of engagement scoping
• Liaise with customers remotely
• Maintain and improve penetration testing processes and methodologies
• Pass on knowledge and mentor Security Consultants within the team
• Write and deliver technical reports and documentation
• Facilitate debriefing sessions with customers
