MANAGER PRODUCT

 

Job Summary:

The role is responsible for product planning, delivery, and marketing throughout the product life cycle. This includes developing the business plan in volumes, accurate forecasting for assigned products, building brand equity, and developing new products or improving current ones based on input from internal stakeholders, customers, market research, and industry insights.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Annual Business Plan (ABP) Development: Develop and deliver the approved ABP for the entire product portfolio.
2. Trend Identification & Strategy Formulation: Identify industry, consumer, and competitor trends to formulate product and brand strategies, including new product development (NPD) and renovations.
3. New Product Development Guidelines: Set NPD guidelines for new launches, supported by the RPD team.
4. Demand Planning: Coordinate with relevant departments for accurate demand planning and forecasting.
5. Purchase Plan Management: Convert forecasts into purchase plans, manage inventory, and communicate with suppliers for deliveries.
6. Agency Liaison for Brand Communication: Work with advertising, media, and research agencies for communication strategies, campaigns, and market/consumer analysis.
7. Marketing Budget Management: Monitor and control marketing budgets, manage promotional needs, and conduct post-promotional analysis.
8. Market Visits & Sales Collaboration: Regularly visit the market and attend sales meetings to gather customer insights and create tactical plans with the sales team.
9. Supplier Relations & Negotiations: Formulate annual purchase plan forecasts, negotiate terms with suppliers, and conduct regular supplier visits.
10. Category Performance Monitoring: Track daily, weekly, and monthly category performance, taking corrective actions as needed.
