Job Overview

A leading company in the renewable energy sector is seeking an experienced Plant Engineer to work in the Eastern Province.


Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze the performance of the solar plant to ensure optimal operation and energy production.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to maximize system reliability and longevity.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot system issues, and implement corrective actions promptly.
• Manage and update plant operation records, including incident logs and maintenance schedules.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
• Coordinate with utility companies and regulatory bodies for grid integration and compliance.
• Recommend and implement improvements and optimizations to enhance plant performance and efficiency.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of two years of experience in the operation and maintenance of solar power plants.
• In-depth knowledge of PV system operations, including inverters and other plant components.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to assess complex systems.
• Familiarity with energy management systems and data analysis tools.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Strong communication skills, capable of working effectively with both technical and non-technical staff.
