Job Title: Assistant Export Manager

Duties &and Responsibilities

• Handle end-to-end export operations and make sure to meet deliveries on time.
• Coordinate deliveries with Production for export-related issues and cooperate.
• Maintain monthly export forecast.
• Handle end-to-end pre/post-export documentation such as Bills of lading, license agreements
• and other correspondence, on-time submission targeting with zero discrepancies as per the customer SOP
• Expedite shipping of goods into and out of the Country.
• Good knowledge of export procedures and updated regulations and procedures relating to shipments to the Management
• Coordinate with clearing and forwarding agents for clearance/forwarding shipments without incurring port and shipping line demurrage.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to communicate with shipping lines, customs, transportation companies and other related parties.
• Good knowledge of Organic Sector procedures is a plus.
• Computer literacy on ERP or similar packages is an added qualification.

Required Skills / Abilities:

• Minimum 3 years experience in the related or equal position.
• Diploma/ Degree in Agriculture/ Export Agriculture is a plus.
• Thorough knowledge of shipping regulations and policies.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle shipments independently and must be able to work extended hours when required.
• Excellent time management and ability to work to tight deadlines, super organized should be able to work with ad hoc/ Urgent requests.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suites or related software.
