Job Overview
Were seeking a visionary Tech Lead Machine Learning to spearhead AI and data science initiatives in the banking and financial services sector. This role involves leading the design and deployment of scalable ML systems, mentoring technical teams, and ensuring engineering excellence across projects. Youll collaborate with stakeholders to deliver impactful AI/ML solutions aligned with enterprise goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, production-ready ML systems tailored to business needs.
• Lead ML model lifecycle: data preprocessing, training, evaluation, deployment, and monitoring.
• Guide ML engineers and data scientists through code reviews and technical mentorship.
• Ensure high standards in code quality, testing, documentation, and reproducibility.
• Translate strategic goals into effective AI/ML solutions with product and business teams.
• Estimate effort, manage timelines, and ensure successful delivery of ML features.

Requirements

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of professional experience, with 5+ years in data/ML roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, Java; ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
• Experience with MLOps tools (MLflow, Kubeflow, SageMaker, Airflow).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and data engineering tools (Spark, Kafka, SQL, Snowflake).
• DevOps knowledge (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform) and model governance techniques.
• Prior leadership roles in ML teams; financial services domain experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical thinking, adaptability, and project management skills.
• Ability to mentor diverse teams and communicate complex technical concepts effectively.
