ERP Analyst Opportunity in Garment Industry

Key Responsibilities:

• Support current information applications including ERP system (Apprise), WMS, web-based processing and other subsidiary systems. Work with Application Development team to develop specifications for solutions/enhancements as required to meet current business needs or to take advantage of improved functionality

• Monitor and resolve Level 1 and Level 2 requests for enterprise systems.

• Identify opportunities to improve business process/procedure to provide more effective/efficient solutions.

• Implementation of application specifications to address existing business issues, working with IT and Business resources to support existing or implement new functionality.

• Development and execution of business requirement docs (BRD) and testing plans to ensure that delivered solutions meet required needs. Analyst will be involved in final testing and sign-off of solutions before moved into production

• Developing and/or enhancing functionality to reflect required specifications. Includes some basic program development in 4GL programming language (Progress), .Net, or SQL

• Develop implementation and training plans for release of new development to the user community. Provide initial and follow-up training as required to successfully implement development solutions

• Develop documentation on solution functionality and process flow that can be used by user community for self-training/issue resolution

• Development of required reporting/data analysis models using existing data reporting/modeling tools (Power BI, Crystal Reports, Bartender, etc).

• Ensure that the daily, weekly and monthly completion of normal business processes occurs without interruption or error

• Work with Technology/Infrastructure team to ensure system up time and facilitate server updates and maintenance windows

• Other duties as required by management

Qualifications and Experience:

• 2+ years of experience supporting/maintaining an ERP and other related enterprise applications (i.e. WMS/PLM/ETC)

• Strong business analysis and/or software development skills, specifically in consumer product goods environments

• Effective written and verbal communication skills

• Working knowledge Microsoft Office suite of tools (WORD, EXCEL, ACCESS) and the experience with integrating these tools into existing applications

• Working knowledge of Power BI, Crystal Reports preferred but not required

• Working knowledge of PROGRESS programming language, .NET, C++ preferred but not required

• Experience interfacing with REST APIs

• Ability to work independently or as a part of a project team

• Highly motivated, self-starter

• Bachelor degree in business or technology area (or comparable work experience)
