Job Title : Business Development Manager (Industry: Product Development)

• Location : Colombo, Sri Lanka
• Working Days : Monday to Friday 
• Work Hours : 8 am to 5.30 pm
• Work Type : Onsite

Responsibilities :

1. Market Research and Analysis:

• Conduct thorough market research to identify potential business opportunities and trends

• Analyze industry dynamics, competitor landscapes, and customer needs to inform strategic business development

2. Lead Generation:

• Develop and implement effective lead generation strategies using various channels
• Utilize networking events, online platforms, and partnerships to generate qualified leads

3. Client Relationship Management:

• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients
• Understand client needs and identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities

4. Proposal Development:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create compelling and customized proposals
• Ensure proposals align with client requirements and company capabilities

5. Negotiation and Closing:

• Lead negotiation processes to reach mutually beneficial agreements
• Close deals in accordance with established targets and objectives

6. Collaboration with Internal Teams:

• Work closely with marketing, product development, and operations teams to align efforts with organizational goals
• Provide valuable insights for enhancing product/service offerings based on client feedback and market trends

7. Sales Reporting and Analysis:

• Maintain accurate records of sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline management
• Analyze sales data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement

8. Continuous Learning:

• Stay abreast of industry trends, market changes, and competitor activities
• Actively participate in professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements :

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
• Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related role
• Strong analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
• Results-oriented with a focus on meeting and exceeding targets
