Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Website Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify and WordPress projects.

• Proficiency in front-end web technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Liquid (for Shopify).

• Experience with back-end development and database management.

• Strong knowledge of Shopify themes, customizations, and app integrations.

• Expertise in WordPress, including theme and plugin development and customization.

• Experience with e-commerce best practices, SEO, and user experience optimization.

• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).

• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and clients.

• Minimum 3 years relevant experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with Shopify Plus and custom Shopify app development. 
• Knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and RESTful APIs. 
• Familiarity with performance optimization tools and techniques. 
• Experience with responsive and adaptive design. 

Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and maintain websites on Shopify and WordPress. 
• Implement and manage themes and plugins/extensions for both platforms. 
• Customize the appearance and functionality of online stores according to the specifications. 
• Conduct regular site audits and perform necessary updates and optimizations. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve website issues and bugs efficiently. 
• Ensure site security and perform regular updates to safeguard client websites. 
• Integrate third-party APIs and tools to enhance website functionality. 
• Collaborate with designers, content creators, and other team members to deliver cohesive digital experiences. 
• Monitor website performance, analyze metrics, and make data-driven decisions to improve user experience and engagement. 
• Stay current with industry trends, platform updates, and emerging technologies.
