A leading organization is looking for a Manager / Senior Manager Tax & Regulatory Reporting to oversee regulatory compliance, tax payments, and financial reporting.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Regulatory Reporting

• Prepare quarterly and annual returns in compliance with regulations.
• Ensure all reports adhere to IRCSL guidelines.
• Manage ad-hoc information requests from IRCSL.
• Process month-end journal entries related to IRCSL charges.
• Provide a monthly market-consistent balance sheet to the actuarial department.

2. Taxation

• Ensure compliance with WHT, corporate tax, crop levy, cess, stamp duty, etc.
• Review annual returns for indirect & direct taxes, including crop levy & cess.
• Oversee balance sheet reconciliations for tax-related accounts.
• Obtain tax clearance from the Inland Revenue Department for foreign payments.
• Coordinate with IRD to fix exchange rates for remittances.
• Handle inter-department and foreign vendor tax matters, including WHT payments.
• Review month-end journal entries related to tax provisions.
• Resolve tax assessments at minimal cost.
• Stay updated on industry tax regulations and take proactive action.
• Provide tax advisory support to the business.
• Prepare annual report tax notes and quarterly group tax templates.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• Fully qualified in CIMA / ACCA / CA.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in Tax / Finance.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
