Job Title - Head of Sales

The Role

As the Head of Sales, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of freight forwarding operations, including managing shipments via sea, air, and land and driving business growth.

This demands a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills, an understanding of freight forwarding, and the ability to maintain excellent customer relationships while ensuring operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

Achieve monthly sales targets and contribute to the growth of the freight forwarding business.

Develop and implement strategies to expand the customer base, enhance service offerings, and increase market share.

Collect outstanding payments within agreed credit periods, ensuring financial stability and growth for the business.

Maintain strong relationships with both mainline and airline operators to ensure ongoing satisfaction and deliver exceptional service to our customers.

Lead, mentor, and manage the freight forwarding team to ensure great performance, efficiency, and collaboration.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Business Management, or a related field (preferred).

5+ years of experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or supply chain management in a manager capacity.

Excellent negotiation and sales skills with a proven track record of meeting targets.

Strong understanding of global trade practices and freight forwarding processes.

Should be a collaborative team player.

Proficiency in MS Office.

Good PR and communication skills with a passion for work.
