Position: Account Manager - Merchandiser
JOB ROLE
Requirements:
Minimum 10 years of experience in the apparel industry, mainly having hands on experience in Children's wear.
This positions is mainly for the productions, having experience in developments will be an added advantage.
Academic and relevant professional qualifications
Proven people leadership skills, team orientation and managerial experience
Ability to manage team in high workflow, high-pressure environment
Extensive knowledge of global manufacturing and operations capabilities
Excellent communication and negotiation skills
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain good relations with your Customers and Suppliers. You are responsible for Customer Service and company guidelines for communicating with customers and suppliers must be adhered to at all times.
Ensure your team members provide excellent Customer Service at all times
Manage every aspect of your team member's work and progression, including adherence to procedures, discipline, training.
Manage your department's expenditure within the budget.
Work with other departments (ex: Technical, Fabric, product) to manage supplier evaluations and support in improving all aspects of supplier performance
